The Malakoff ISD Board of Trustees have called a bond election for May 8, 2010 in the amount of $4,900,000. The funds will be used to:
- Malakoff Elementary School
-Completely renovate "the old rock building" to provide eight regular classrooms, a science lab, and a computer lab
-Add a security entrance to the front of the school
-Add additional parking
-Tool Elementary School
-Add six additional classrooms
-Add a security entrance
Early voting will take place April 26th - May 4th at the Malakoff ISD Administration Building and at Tool City Hall. Election day voting will take place May 8 from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM at Malakoff City Hall and the Oran White Civic Center in Tool.
If the bond passes, the cost to the taxpayer is $0.01 per $100 in valuation. For more information, visit the links to the left.
